Girlfight is as well the 2005 song by rapper Brooke Valentine. Girlfight was the 2000 film drama starring Michelle Rodriguez. It focuses in Dianthe Guzman, the disruptive teenage world health organization decides to channel her aggression by expert training videos to turn into a boxer, despite a skepticism of two her abusive father & the prospective trainers in the male-dominated sport. Girlfight was a debut film of writer/director Karyn Kusama, when well as Rodriguez's gaolbreak role. A motion-picture show won each a Director's Award & a Grand Jury Prize (attached by owning Kenneth Lonergan's You Can Count on Me) at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival. It as well won a Award of a Youth at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival.
